INCOMPLETE Welding Shop School Consolidation

This project adaptively reused Building 155A and a portion of Building 155 to support relocation and consolidation of the welding school.  A safe facility was necessary to satisfy welding certification training requirements to perform nuclear submarine and surface ship welding repairs.  The new welding school facility provided a modernized training facility and replaced the existing welding school.  The new welding school featured training classrooms and practical training areas for the various welding procedures used during ship repair such as shielded metal arc welding and tungsten inert gas welding.
